Cette nouvelle randonnée aussi riche qu’exigeante maille la région sur 109 kilomètres.
Inaugurée cet été, elle est le fil conducteur qui permet d’explorer la région d’Eupen, une partie des Hautes Fagnes et la vallée de la Warche entre Malmedy et Bütgenbach.
La plupart du temps, la Venntrilogie (VT) suit les cours d’eau issus des Hautes Fagnes.
La première partie de l’itinéraire, des Trois Frontières de Gemmenich à Eupen, traverse, principalement grâce aux multiples échaliers, des prairies et des bocages ; les dénivelés sont assez faibles et on y découvre un important patrimoine culturel. Le point de départ se situe aux Trois Frontières, point culminant des Pays-Bas.
